  (1.) All entries must be at the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church on Birch Street by 10:15am Saturday, June 2, 2018.

  (2.) Absolutely no consumption or distribution of alcohol while parade is in progress. (WI. Statute 346.035) NO items may be thrown from any moving vehicle or float.Candy, novelties etc. may be distributed by walking persons ONLY.

  (3.) Entries with animals must provide their own “clean-up” services.

  (4.) With safety in mind, all entries will be assigned a parade position arranged by the Family Daze Committee. 

All entrants agree to release the Black Creek Family Daze Committee and any of its assisting organizations from any liability due to accidents or injury.

I/We have read and fully understand the Parade Policies as set forth by the Family Daze Committee. I/We will, to the best of my/our ability, follow these policies.

17thAnnual Black Creek

Family Daze Parade

 

            Dear Friend,

 

The Annual Black Creek Family Daze Parade will be held on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018.

 

This year’s theme will be “Super Hero’s & Villian’s”. So, Hero’s be ready to protect your community from any Villian’s that may show up! Please have fun, but be safe with this theme. Did you know we give away prizes for the best 3 float’s for each class? Plaques go to the commercial floats and non-commercial floats receive a check and a plaque! Winners will be announced at 4:30pm during the Grudge Match.

 

This event is extra special for several reasons:

  1. The Black Creek Family Daze Committee partners with other organizations in Black Creek. Together we are able to provide a full day of family friendly events everyone can enjoy.
  2. This is a yearly event that includes: the live band, Bartels Chainsaw Carvings, car, antique tractor and motorcycle show, free kid’s area with games, face painting, bounce houses, magician and many more activities. There will also be raffles, paddle wheels, beverages for both minors and adults available until 11pm (No carry-ins allowed) and of course lots of great food.
  3. In the afternoon we will once again have our famous Grudge Match! For those of you who don’t know, this is our Adult softball game with Country vs. Village teams! During this time we will also announce parade results!

 

Your participation is needed to make this year’s parade a special event. This parade will start at 11:00am at the intersection of Birch & S. Maple Street (Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church) with staging beginning at 9:30am. It will continue west on Birch to Main Street north to Oak Street right to S. Maple Street right back to Birch Street.

 

There will be an announcer’s stand at Simpson’s Auto on the west side of Main Street. We ask each entry complete a Bio on your Business/ Organization/ Family to be announced as the parade passes the announcer’s stand, this is your chance to brag up and promote your entry!

 

Don’t forget to join us after the parade at South Park to continue the Family Daze festivities!
