The trail name is derived from the cities it connects; New London, ShioctonBlack Creek, & Seymour.

Location

The trail when all phases are completed (23 miles) will run between New London and Seymour, Wisconsin which are also interconnected by Hwy 54.

Update On Construction

Construction on phase one is completed on the trail starting at the Oneida Trail and going west through Seymour and Black Creek.  The trail will open May 16.   Trail users have 9 miles of the Newton Blackmour State Trail plus the 5+ miles on the Oneida Trail known as the Duck Creek Trail.

Who May Use The Trail

Hikers, bikers, horseback riders and snowmobiles in the winter months.  To avoid damage to the trail horses should stay off the trail in the spring until the trail is dry.  This doesn't usually occur until around May 15. Sorry no ATV's or other motorized vehicles are allowed on the trail. Snowmobiles are not allowed on the Duck Creek Trail.
