Re-construction on Hwy 54 between Clark St. and Elm St. is scheduled to begin on March 6, 2023. The anticipated date for the water main install to be completed is April 24, 2023. After this date the contractor will start the work on the curbs, sidewalks and road repaving with an anticipated date for the removal of the detour to be the first part of June.

Hwy 54 will be closed to thru traffic during construction. The Hwy will remain open to local traffic for businesses and residents that live within the construction area only, with occasional delays for construction equipment.

The intersection at Hwy 54 and Hwy 47 will be completely closed in both directions for 7 to 10 days during the installation of the new water mains in the intersection. Please see the village web site for updates on the definite days of the intersection closure. www.villageofblackcreek.com
